Shooting suspects denied bond
Two men arrested in connection with the shooting of three Jacksonboro men early Saturday outside Alex's Social Club in Adams Run faced a judge in a bond hearing Monday.
Bond was denied on all charges for Benjamin Nathaniel Williams III, 17, and Johnny DeAngelo Wilson Jr., 21, the Charleston County jail said.
The suspects are related and lived together in Meggett, authorities said.
Leroy Holmes, 19, of Jacksonboro was killed in the 2 a.m. shooting at the club on Parkers Ferry Road. The gunshot wound of Edward Ramon Holmes, 23, was not life-threatening. Tremayne Campbell, 20, suffered multiple gunshot wounds. His injuries were thought to be life-threatening, but Medical University Hospital said he was in good condition Monday.
Williams is charged with murder and two counts of assault with intent to kill. Wilson is charged with murder, three counts of assault with intent to kill and three counts of assault and battery with intent to kill. Prior to their arrests, neither man had a criminal history in South Carolina, their records show.
