Bowden was fired for having a 3-3 record...so Clemson is going to hire an assistant under Bowden who has a record that is one game better at 4-2? Yabba Dabo dooooo!

Good for him - he deserves it! He turned around a team that had lost their coach and given up on their season (not a small task). He has great energy and has been wonderful for the program. Congrats Dabo!

He lost to Georgia Tech with less than a week of preparation. The 2nd loss was to Florida State. No one gave Clemson a chance to win that one. Finishing 4-2 to me is real impressive. As well Clemson will maintain recruiting lines already built, they have an awesome Defensive Coordinator, he has proven he can retain a lead and he has momentum. Why wouldn't they hire him. Seems to me he is a steal at a million a year.
