Local gallery to feature watercolor artist

Sunday, November 30, 2008

The Dog & Horse Fine Art gallery, 106-B Church St., will have an exhibition of works by watercolor artist Pat Weaver from Friday to Dec. 26. A reception will be held 5-7:30 p.m. at Friday's opening.

Weaver's paintings feature the warmth of spontaneous moments, such as a King Charles spaniel with her head draped over a pillow.

A regular at the Westminster Kennel Club Show each year in New York, Weaver is also an international watercolor instructor, traveling and teaching workshops throughout the United States, Italy, France, Mexico, the Bahamas and the Virgin Islands.
