Law firm wants children's books

Friday, November 28, 2008

The three area-wide offices of Steinberg Law Firm will accept new and gently used children's books through Dec. 22 for donation to Trident Literacy's learning centers.

Books can be delivered to any of the firm's offices 8:30 a.m.- 5 p.m. weekdays.

The offices are located at 61 Broad St. in Charleston, 1520 Old Trolley Road in Summerville and at 118 Goose Creek Blvd. in Goose Creek.

The effort is being spearheaded by Kevin Smith, a partner in the firm.

Smith is chairman of the Trident Literacy board this year.

The drive is also part of the law firm's 80th anniversary celebration, which has matched the firm's eight partners with area charities of choice.

The firm is adopting the charities individually for special assistance.
