Toys for Tots sign-up ends Monday

The Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program will be closing its annual sign up for families in need of holiday assistance.

People can sign up at Tan- ger Outlet Malls in suite 881 9 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays and noon-4 p.m. Saturday through Nov. 24.

People who sign up need to bring a picture ID for applicants, birth certificates and Social Security cards for all children and proof of residence such as a utility bill.

While the sign-up period closes, The Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program is just beginning to kick off its annual toy drive and collection this year.

Boxes will be distributed throughout the Lowcountry.

For more information on the program, call 743-2220, ext. 19. Businesses and organizations that would like more information about being a drop-off location or donating, should call 743-2120, ext. 19.
