Teacher remains critical after fall
Tuesday, November 18, 2008
A teacher who fell from a second-story balcony at her downtown Charleston home Saturday remained in critical condition Monday, Medical University Hospital said.
Witnesses at a first-floor apartment at the building on President Street told police that at about 3 p.m. Courtney Harbaugh leaned on the railing and yelled down, asking to borrow a hose, a police report said. It said the railing gave way and she fell to the sidewalk below.
Harbaugh, 24, a teacher at the Little School at Grace Episcopal Church on Wentworth Street, suffered severe head injuries, said her grandfather, Bob Oswald.

Thank you PnC. Ironhorse is a jerk. Courtney I hope you will be well soon. And I hope you get a good lawyer because what people are forced to pay to live downtown is outrageous! LANDLORDS take some of that money you are gouging and make repairs.
