Banking

Neil Ferguson and Phil Dumouchel have joined SunTrust Bank's Charleston mortgage division. Ferguson is sales manager for the coastal Charleston unit. Previously, he was with Bank of America for 19 years. Dumouchel is sales manager for the North Charleston unit. He previously was with Wachovia Mortgage for six years and is a former executive director of the Charleston HomeOwnership Center.

Business sales

Angelo Convertino has joined Carolina BizBuySell as a business broker. His specialty has been loan originations and real estate acquisitions with Loan Finders of Charleston.

Engineering

Alvin Talbot "Tab" Henderson III has joined Soil Consultants Inc. as a staff engineer. He has a bachelor's degree in business and civil engineering and a master's degree in civil engineering, all from the University of South Carolina.

Michael Bellamy, James Malliard and Eric Traenkner have joined BP Barber's Charleston office. Bellamy is an engineering associate. He has a bachelor's degree from Georgia Tech University and previously was employed by AEC Inc. in Atlanta. Malliard is a computer-aided design and drafting technician. He previously was with Empire Engineering. Traenkner is a project engineer. He has a bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland. He previously was employed by Little & Associates Inc. in Towson, Md.

Law

Thomas A. Shook has become a member of Finkel Law Firm LLC in North Charleston. He has a bachelor's degree from the University of South Carolina and a law degree from USC's School of Law. Also, Carrie A. Stapleton, Brendan P. Langendorfer and Ronald L. Blankenship have joined the firm as associates. Stapleton has a bachelor's degree from Shawnee State University and a law degree from Salmon P. Chase College of Law. Langendorfer has a bachelor's degree from Drew University and a law degree from George Washington University Law School. Blankenship has a law degree from the Charleston School of Law.

Marketing

Lou Fabian has joined Rawle Murdy as interactive project manager. He will be responsible for managing all client interactive projects. Previously, he was as a senior account executive at imc, a full-service independent interactive agency near Philadelphia. He has a bachelor's of science in business administration from Shippensburg University.

Real estate

Carl M. Harrison has joined Beach Commercial, the commercial brokerage division of The Beach Co., as a commercial real estate agent specializing in retail brokerage. He has a bachelor's degree in business administration from The Citadel. Previously, he was employed by Scout Boats in Summerville.

Colin Dunn has joined Colliers Keenan's Charleston office as a commercial real estate broker specializing in office and investment properties. He has a bachelor's degree in psychology from Hampden-Sydney College.

Tiffany Shanklin has joined the downtown Charleston office of William Means Real Estate as marketing coordinator. Previously, she was with The I'On Group and has several years of marketing experience. She has a degree in business from Kent State University.
