Shooting suspect held without bailSunday, May 11, 2008
A suspect in the fatal shooting of a man in West Ashley is being held without bail after surrendering to Charleston police Friday. Russell Daniel Andrew Breaker, 22, is charged with murder, first-degree burglary and possession of a weapon during a crime, police spokesman Charles Francis said. Breaker appeared before a magistrate Saturday, but no bail could be set. State law requires that a circuit court set bail on charges of murder and first- degree burglary. Breaker is accused of gunning down Michael Brock, 29, at Concord West of the Ashley condominiums on May 4. |

Gutless bastard, shoot a man down with no way to defend himself. What happened to the real men? Take or give a beating instead of shooting someone. I guess he was afraid he would soil his panties!

Come on, guys. Be easy on him. We don't know him. He wasn't like that, Lizzy made him do it by being with another guy and the victim caused his own death by trying to protect his friend. Don't you guys read the blogs left by the family members? He is innocent. He is a "good boy." Lizzy should be the one behind bars for this as she is the one that caused Michael to lose his life. *Please note my sarcasm*

Well, he chose life instead of death, so that's a start for
him. I put a good portion of blame on the common law wife
and her misbehavior for all this ..

That's what I said. Women have incited men to violence
since time began. The lion's share of the blame belongs
to Russell, no doubt about it. He killed an unarmed man
in a fit of passion.
The the woman also bears some blame .. they might have at
least gone to a motel or Brock's place to have sex while
Russell was stewing. Brock might also have left instead
of spending the night and hanging around on the balcony
the next morning.
As I say, several of the parties could have prevented
this homicide by behaving differently.

Harpo and JohnS are Hell bent on thinking that this chick was sleeping with the friend. There have been friends and family members on this board saying that is not the case. But for some reason. They insist on making this a taudry affair that warranted this crime. I wouldn't allow their ignorance and lack of tact get to me if I were you.
