North Charleston Arts Festival's grand finale tonight at Riverfront Park will highlight music from tri-county school districts.

Among the performers will be the boys drumming group Beaux Hawks from Windsor Hill Elementary School in Dorchester District 2. The program was developed to reach at-risk boys who needed an extra push. The school has reported a decrease in the number of office discipline referrals and an increase in the academic scores from the Beaux Hawks. Also performing will be the Goose Creek High School Wind Ensemble and Color Guard from Berkeley County and "The Dirty Birds" Drum Ensemble from Academic Magnet High School in Charleston County.

The free event from 6 to 9 p.m. will feature other performances, food and fireworks. The park is on Everglades Drive. Bring blankets or lawn chairs. Rain site: North Charleston Cultural & Civic Center on the former Charleston Naval Base.
