North Charleston City Hall is so overcrowded that the city is looking for a new City Hall to replace the 30-year-old, five-story building on LaCross Road.

"We don't have any room in City Hall," Mayor Keith Summey said.

The mayor wants the new City Hall to be centrally located in the city and discounts the old Navy base as too far removed from the city's center.

He has his eye on a new office building under construction across the street from City Hall that's three times the size of the current building, but no decision has been made and no financing has been identified.

I don't know, but it appears that Mayor Keith Summey may have ordered a new City Hall building without any votes, discussion or review. It is so awfully convenient to have someone build a building that just happens to "fit the bill" in the precise location that "fits the bill" at a time that "fits the bill". The only thing that will not "fit the bill" is "The Bill". Who are the owners of the spec building and how are they connected to Mayor Keith Summey.
After finding out who the owners are, then find out who the REAL owners are! Smells like a duck to me!
