Fashion destination

K. Morgan, downtown Charleston's newest destination for upscale women's clothing and accessories, is holding a trunk show Tuesday and Wednesday featuring collections from Mississippi-bred designer Hilton Hollis.

The spring and fall collections feature sportswear and special occasion pieces with modern architectural lines, luxurious Italian fabrics and high-quality workmanship.

The new boutique is at 255 King St. For more information, call 577-0924 or visit www.kmorganboutique.com.

Trunk show

Maddison Row, 45 Hasell St., will hold a Marysia trunk show 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. April 4. Designer Marysia Reeves launched her debut collection, Marysia Charleston, just months ago following design school in Los Angeles, a stint with fashion house Milly in New York and a move to Charleston.

Reeves has spent the past year in her seaside studio researching fabrics that contain UV protection, are chlorine resistant and boast an impeccable fit.

The result is her spring/summer collection of nine tops, nine bottoms and four maillots. Some of the suits are made in reversible fabrics, and the bikinis are meant to be mixed and matched.

Submit fashion-related items to Christine W. Randall at randall@postandcourier.com. Items must be received by noon on Monday for inclusion in Friday's paper.
