APRIL 26: Global Warming: Forecast for South Carolina Wildlife. 3:30 p.m. Sewee Visitor and Environmental Education Center, 5821 U.S. Highway 17, Awendaw. Dr. David Stoney Jr. will present a slide presentation that gives an overview of potential climate change impacts on the South Carolina's coast and presents some basic facts about global warming that South Carolina hunters and anglers will find useful as they consider where they stand on this issue.
APRIL 27: Light House View, Cape Romain Lights. 9:30 a.m. Meet at the Sewee Center. $35. Limited space. Volunteer Tommy Graham and Refuge staff lead a tour to the lighthouses on Cape Romain National Wildlife Refuge. Leave McClellanville aboard the Island Cat for a boat ride through the refuge waters, ending with a walk to the lights on Lighthouse Island. Call 928-3368 to register.
