Expressions of Healing

Are you a cancer survivor or a family member or friend of one? Expressions of Healing, an eight-week workshop, can help you work through your feelings about the disease by using creative forms of expression such as poetry, journal writing and art.

The series will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursdays from March 27 through May 15 at Roper Hospital, 316 Calhoun St. Sessions will be led by S.C. Poet Laureate Marjory Wentworth and art therapist Nancy Hackard. The program is free and includes materials, a light supper and free parking.
