Virtual charter school to hold info sessions
South Carolina Connections Academy will hold three information sessions for families who want to learn about the public charter school.
South Carolina Connections Academy, the state's first statewide virtual charter school, will open this fall for 500 students in kindergarten through 12th grades. The school accepts students from anywhere in the state.
The information sessions will be: 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Hampton Inn and Suites, 678 Citadel Haven Drive, Charleston; 6:30 p.m. April 7 at the Radisson Hotel, 5991 Rivers Ave., North Charleston; and 10 a.m. April 9 at the Quality Inn and Suites, 196 Patriots Point Road, Mount Pleasant.
