Former state Treasurer Ravenel gets 10 months, same as co-defendant
Former state Treasurer Thomas Ravenel was sentenced to 10 months in federal prison, the same as his co-defendant, Michael L. Miller.
Neither have to report to prison for 5 months while investigators probe for more information about the Lowcountry drug scene. Prosecutors were waiting to see how accurate the information was that both provided. If it proves to be useful, both of their sentences could be reduced.
