Building supply firm hit by fire
A fire that started on a privately owned street sweeper spread to a building-supply company on a road that runs parallel to Interstate 26 on Friday morning, North Charleston firefighters said.
Crews were dispatched to Builder's First Choice on 4450 Arco Lane, near West Montague Avenue, around 9 a.m.
Firefighters were able to douse the flames in less than 5 minutes, Battalion Chief Eric Phillips said.
The fire began on an older-model sweeper and jumped to a building housing a lumber yard about 5 feet away.
Phillips said the fire started when a worker left an acetylene torch unattended.

The name of the company is Builder's 1ST Source. I really don't think it started because he left the torch unattended. I would think it was from sparks from what he was welding with the torch. JMO!
