How and where to vote Tuesday

Voters will use electronic ballots. The touch screen pads will have various races on them, including federal, state and local candidates. Ballots will be different depending on your location.

You will touch the screen next to the candidate. You may change your mind simply by touching the opponent, and then hit next at the bottom of the screen. Then you will be asked to review your choices. At that point you will be able to go back and change your vote before hitting the final flashing vote sign. There might be more than one screen before you are finished.

Polls will open at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. Bring your voter registration card, driver's license or state-issued picture ID.

There is no one ballot for this year's races since the computer screens are customized down to precincts.

There might be multiple computer screens with candidates for you to choose from, depending on where you live.
