Youth classes, programs
PARENT/CHILD BALLROOM SAMPLER: An introduction to Ballroom Dance. Basic dance moves will be taught to dances such as the fox trot, waltz and more. This class will provide that special bond between parent and child as you develop dance skills together. Ages 5-9. G.M. Darby Building. Thursdays, Today through June 26, 6:30-7 p.m. $30 resident/$37 nonresident/price per couple. Instructor: Barrie Roland.
Athletics and aquatics
FAMILY FUN NIGHT: 6:30-8:30 p.m. June 6 at R.L. Jones Center Pool. Free event. Bring friends and family for a night of swimming fun and games. Floats and water toys are welcomed. Use side pool door. Call Jeff Garrard at 884-2528.
Senior, adult programs
EVENING BINGO: There are 10 games played and prizes are given. Alhambra Hall Senior Room. 6-7:30 p.m. June 11 and July 16. Free. Bingo caller: Dolly Coleman.
SENIOR COVERED DISH LUNCHEON 11:45 a.m. June 6 at Alhambra Hall Senior Room. Bring a side dish or dessert; main course will be provided. Free. Contact Chuck De-Lorme at 856-2166 or 849-206.
