"Our performance exceeded all expectations. All 170 swimmers contributed significantly to the Flying Fish's undefeated White League season, and we had a lot of fun along the way while fitting in extra activities. Jacob Morris (8&U) 1st in free, 2nd in fly ... Sharks had second-best individual event improvement ... 14 out of 15 relays improved times ... "This year we knew we had some room to improve and we did just that at the city meet. The shark tank full of parents at the end of the pool continued to inspire our swimmers. We had our sights set on Northbridge, but came up short again. Our focus is now on the Killer Whales and the Alberto Trophy next year." — Brad Blake

"The Sailfish were lead all season by Michael Jessup, Chris Huff, Rebecca Sydow, Carly Donoho, Kaleb Jenness, Caitlin Hedrick, Devin Morrow, and Zoe Seamon-Grant. The team accomplished our goals: have fun, make new friends, improve in the water, and learn the meanings of teamwork and sportsmanship. Blaine Heffron (15-18) 1st in free, fly; 2nd in IM ... "The 2008 season has been one of growth and building for the Riptides. The team nearly doubled this year with over 100 swimmers. "We envisioned uniting two small military teams into one larger combined joint force. The merger between the Naval Weapons Station and Air Force Base created the Federal Armed Services Team or FAST. The union served tri-county swimmers affiliated with all branches of the military. Living by the motto, 'United we stand and divided we fall,' the Eagles surprised many teams in the blue league with a successful record of 4 wins and 4 losses." — Anna Bronk
