Ridgeville fire station dilemma

Ridgeville residents are worried about fire protection after Dorchester County officials condemned and closed the town's fire station.

Chief Herbert Cummings says he's been trying to get the town to fix the station for years. Mayor James Williams says council always gave the chief everything he asked for.

The town was trying to get the county to take over the fire station when county officials inspected it and closed it down.
