I'm sure this will make that already extremely pleasant commute even better. Having lived in Summerville for a while, I can deeply pity everyone sitting on the interstate this morning.
On another note, I hope they all brought their makeup that they put on in the car while driving, their cell phones for text messaging and the books and newspapers that they read in moving traffic to keep them entertained.

When are the State and local police going to start cracking down on the truckers that speed through our roads and interstates!? I see now that they are being stopped and given a 500$ for not being about to speak english well!!! THat has not killed anybody to my knowledge! I have actually seen first hand truckers drive past troopers and police above the speed limit by more than 10 MPH and not be stopped!! WHY!? Some of the trucks I have seen are being held togeather with bailing wire and still keep on trucking!! Something is WRONG! They can kick people in the head and beat them up once in custody, take money from the mexican population they stop, trading sex for tickets, on and on the list goes. IF they would just do the job they are hired to do without the extra carricular activites, mabe we could have safer and more professional police force, and not police farce!

Thanks a lot, truck driver. You made me late to work. Please learn how to not wreck your truck before you get back in it. That is all.

To the editor who wrote the tag line for the photo, there is NO Midlands Park Road exit! This is a clear, clean stretch of highway with no on-off exit ramps, nor curves, so one wonders, what caused this truck driver to wreck?

Ok, no where in the article do I see anything about an exit at Midland Park. The writer said that's where the accident occured on the interstate. In case you don't know, that big overpass that you go under at milemarker 210 is, are you ready for this, MIDLAND PARK!!! OMG!! How on earth could anyone get confused about this??

I've always said that truck drivers are #1 on my worse driver list! They think they are road Gods when they get in those big rigs!

flowergirl and wise1,
clyous said that it was the tag line for the photo. Look under the photo. It says:
"Traffic is backed up on I-26 near the Midland Park exit after an early morning accident."
Please read carefully before criticizing someone else.

First - I hope the driver is all right.
Second - I don't mind semi's. It's those damned dump trucks that I hate. I actually saw two of them RACING west bound on I26 a few months ago.
