Forum on crime is set for July 28

Inner City Ministries Inc., will hold its third annual Community Forum at 7 p.m. July 28 at Inner City Ministries in North Charleston.

Topics will be crime and employment after incarceration, said Pastor Edwin D. Wright, founder of Inner City Ministries. The North Charleston Police Department's and Community Group's "It's Cool To Be In School" campaign will also be discussed.

Special guests and panelists include North Charleston Police Chief Jon Zumalt, Father To Father Project Inc. Director Bill Jenkins, Star 99.7 radio personality Geno Jones, Charleston County Detention Center Chaplain Eva Smith, Charleston Police Chief Greg Mullen, Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church Pastor Augustus Robinson and Charleston City Councilman Wendell Gilliard, who won the Democratic runoff for the District 111 state House seat.
