'Goodbye Girl' to guest star on 'Army Wives'
The "Goodbye Girl" is coming to town.
TV Guide reports that four-time Oscar nominee Marsha Mason will guest star on the Lifetime program "Army Wives." The military drama is filmed in Charleston.
Mason, who won fame for her role in "The Goodbye Girl" and other films, will appear as Charlotte Meade, the socialite mother of Claudia Joy Holden, played by Kim Delaney.
The character reunion could be unpleasant. Earlier this season, Charlotte was not present at the funeral of her granddaughter, Amanda.
Mason will appear in at least two episodes in mid-August.

Hey, now, ColdBeer! This is one of my favorite shows! That being said, I agree that there was no great reason to make an article out of the guest appearance. We would find that out when we watched the show.
I guess Barbara Eden should be upset that there was no article when she made a guest appearance last season! LOL
