JAMES ISLAND — A 38-year-old carpenter was jailed after police accused him of biting off a man's nose Tuesday during a fight at the Burger King on Folly Road. Two men fought on the ground at the drive-thru lane, and at one point one of the men raised up with blood on his face and spit out a piece of flesh, an incident report said. The victim's nose was found nearby and taken with him to a hospital. The suspect admitted to the crime and seemed to be bragging when he described the taste of blood, the report said.
