Several children received minor injuries Wednesday afternoon at a charity event at North Charleston's Riverfront Park when an inflatable slide tilted to one side and the children fell to the ground. Two of the children were taken to local hospital about 4:45 p.m. with injuries that were not serious, Charleston County EMS said. About 50 youngsters attended the event, which was sponsored by a state law enforcement association. The organization gave school supplies to the children and treated them to grilled food and play activities. Read more in Thursday's editions of The Post and Courier.

What a relief! I was so worried that Andy Savage would not have anything to do now that Al Parish is pretty much behind bars for a few years. Well now he'll be able to help sue the city of Charleston, the state law enforcement association, and maybe the overweight 5 year old that probably caused the slide to tilt. I know I'll sleep so much better tonight.

iluvscarolina, that was funny! And, the sad part is that you are most likely speaking the truth. I wouldn't doubt it if they sue the hell out of everyone they can.
