Nutmeg brings spice to lifeSunday, December 21, 2008
This is "Nutmeg," a little girl who found her way to our other cat's food dish, as she was almost starved. I think she was only about 6-8 weeks old when we were able to finally grab her and bring her inside. You could feel her little ribs and backbone, she was so thin. Our other cat tolerated her and didn't chase her away, but she meowed loudly and kept chasing after him before we caught her. Once we got her inside ... she's been happy and healthy ever since and gets along great with our other kitty. She just got spayed, so we don't have to worry about kittens, either. She is a beautiful, loving little girl, and it makes me so angry to think someone "threw" her away. Lucky for all of us, she ended up here.
