A member of The Citadel's Class of 2004 was killed in Iraq last week, according to the school and media reports.

Marine Capt. Warren A. Frank, 26, of Cincinnati, was in Charlie Company at The Citadel. He was assigned to the 5th Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company in the Third Marine Expeditionary Force in Okinawa, Japan, according to the Military Times Web site. He died Nov. 25 while conducting combat operations in Ninewa province, school officials said.

He is the 13th Citadel graduate to die in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Media reports indicate Frank was killed during a food distribution mission north of Baghdad when his team came under fire by an attacker in an Iraqi's soldier's uniform.
