Three arrested in N. Charleston cocaine bust
Three men face drug charges after North Charleston and Mount Pleasant police officers conducted a controlled delivery, or buy-bust, operation today near a restaurant on Ashley Phosphate Road and seized 979 grams of cocaine with an estimated street value of $98,000 and a 9 mm handgun.
Police arrested Adrian Callejas Vidal, 27, of Preakness Drive, North Charleston; Lorenzo Trujillo Mederos, 27, of Old Highway 6, Summerville; and Francisco Ayala Mesa, 28, of Brossy Circle, North Charleston.
All three are charged with trafficking cocaine and possession with intent to distribute within half mile of a school. In addition, Mederos is charged with possession of a firearm during a violent crime, according to Spencer Pryor, Director of Public Safety Communications for the North Charleston Police Department.
The suspects were being held at Dorchester County Detention Center and are expected to have a bond hearing this evening.

Adrian Callejas Vidal, Lorenzo Trujillo Mederos, and Francisco Ayala Mesa? I'm thinking the restaurant they were busted at was a Taco Bell. Anyone?

They are in the Dorchester County jail which means they were caught on Ashley Phosphate road past Cross County Road going towards Dorchester Road. This is just MORE CRIME brought from Mexico to our doors. This country had better wake up and soon or we will have the Mexican drug gangs killing our police and our military and our civilians as they are doing in Mexico right now. I read in the news yesterday where the Mexican drug lords have given approval for their gang members to start select killings in THIS country. Anyone think it is already too late? Thank your elected officials in Washington for doing nothing for the last decade.
