Woman shot at psychic’s office
Authorities say someone shot a 46-year-old woman in the cheek inside the European Psychic in West Ashley Saturday night and then stole her car.
Charleston County Sheriff’s Lt. Kevin Whited said the shooting occurred at 8:40 p.m. at 1942 Sam Rittenberg Blvd.
They found Kathy Parrish inside, bleeding from the cheek, he said. She was taken to a local hospital where officers were still waiting to talk to her as of Sunday afternoon, Whited said.
There were no other witnesses to the shooting, though police say a relative called authorities.
Authorities are looking for the victim’s car, a 4-door, 2000 Audi with SC tags that say 518WSU.
Anyone with information about the shooting or the car are asked to call CrimeStoppers at 554-1111.

this story s fishy
stolen car and a shooting yet she was inside the building
a car thief isnt gonna take the time to go inside and shoot someone then go back out and steal the car. the whole point is to get away unnoticed and without being easily recognized
no witnesses make it harder to id them later
seems to that she was helping her attacker maybe to collect insurance off the car or to dump the car note

You see, this is why I don't visit places like that (or Generation XXX, etc.) because with my luck, a crime would happen, and it would be plastered all over the news that I was there---I'd never live it down, LOL.

I'd be a little upset with the psychic at that point.
jca- It's also likely that she was shot outside the building, the psychic saw the woman bleeding and brought her inside until help arrived.

Marianne, maybe it is Yolanda and she just did a poor job of name-changing. She was there trying to find out what's gonna become of her now that her future with Al is not working out and she and the kids are on the down skids.

I bet its real funny untill it happens to someone in one of your familys...for the record kathy was the psychic and the reason she isn't able to give any information is beacuse shes in a coma.
