Someone was shot around 8:30 p.m. Saturday inside European Psychic on Sam Rittenberg Boulevard in West Ashley. The victim was taken to a local hospital, a deputy at the scene said. No report was available on the victim's condition. Authorities had not yet named anyone involved by press time. While Charleston County deputies worked the shooting scene, a pickup truck and a sports utility vehicle collided across the street. The accident sent the SUV careening about 30 feet into trees in front of South Carolina Credit Union. Some of the deputies had to leave the scene of the shooting to tend to the crash. Nobody appeared to be seriously injured in the wreck although both vehicles were badly damaged.

John_doe45, you beat me to it! My first thought was "they didn't see this coming"? On another note...rubberneckers...there should be a fine for that. The way the article is written, I would assume that some people were trying to get a good look at what was going on in the Psychic's place. Hope it paid off for them.

Great reporting! Next they'll print the weather forecast: There will be weather Monday, what it'll be, we don't know yet but if it rains we'll be first on the scene! Meanwhile someone jaywalked on Ashley Phosphate road.
