Pedestrian hit on Johnnie Dodds

MOUNT PLEASANT — A vehicle struck a man late Saturday, leaving him in critical condition, said Mount Pleasant police Sgt. Steve Meadows.

Meadows said that a vehicle was traveling north on Johnnie Dodds Boulevard when the man stepped in front of the vehicle and was struck. The accident occurred near Dragoon Drive.

The man was in critical condition Monday at Medical University Hospital, Meadows said. Meadows said no charges were filed in the case.
