Wreck snarls rush-hour traffic on Highway 17

MOUNT PLEASANT — A rush-hour collision snarled traffic headed toward Charleston on U.S. Highway 17 this morning.

At least three vehicles were involved in the crash in the southbound lanes at the intersection with Dragoon Drive around 7:40 a.m. The light is near Anna Knapp Boulevard.

Charleston County EMS reported taking three people to hospitals with minor injuries.
