New online social site for Christians
A new global online community that launched in March bills itself as a 'Christian-focused alternative to MySpace and Facebook.'
ZoeCity.com, based in Seattle, says in a press release that although some other social networks target Christian-related videos or church activities, it is the first to cater exclusively to all activities that are part of a Christian person's life.
The community says it has new security features that give users full control over who they interact with and share information with online. The site also offers churches, music artists and organizations a way to build their own social networks.
Users may post 'secular content' as long as it does not violate the site's code of conduct and content policy, the release states.
