'Big Brother' wants you, but only if you can stand the cameras
Want to be watched 24 hours a day, seven days a week in a house with a dozen strangers?
You're in luck. "Big Brother" is heading this way.
The CBS show will hold a casting call at Mad River Grille on Market Street from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday.

The reality program works this way: "Big Brother" places a number of people in a house, cut off from the outside world, their company a gaggle of TV cameras.
The show lives up to its title. The house is outfitted with video and audio devices, the show said, that will record and broadcast the actions and voices of participants at all times, and in every room of the house. Those selected also will be watched at all times by the producers, the general public on TV, the Internet, mobile devices, et al.
According to producers, "Big Brother" wants a lively, articulate bunch willing to share private thoughts in an open forum with strangers.
Participants must be willing to live in the Big Brother house, located in Los Angeles, for about 100 days, the dates to be determined by the producers.
One participant will win $500,000. A weekly stipend also will be provided to each participant every week that he or she remains in the house.
Applicants must be 21 and citizens and residents of the United States.
