Moncks Corner hosts rodeo for 6th year
It's rodeo time again in Moncks Corner. The Moncks Corner Pro Rodeo is today and Saturday in Moncks Corner at the fairgrounds off Highway 52.

Doug Tilley of Carrollton, Ky., tries to stay atop his horse at last year's Moncks Corner Pro Rodeo. Professional cowboys will be competing starting today.
The event starts at 6 p.m. This is the sixth year for the rodeo in Moncks Corner.
Cowboys and cowgirls will compete in seven rodeo events including steer wrestling, calf roping, barrel racing, team roping and bull riding.
There will be pony rides, jump castles and rodeo clowns for the children.
Tickets can be purchased at Williams Farm Supply and Santee Cooper Credit Union in Moncks Corner, Recycled Cowboy Store in Ladson, Boot Jack in North Charleston and Cainhoy Feed in Mount Pleasant.
Advance tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for children under 11. Tickets at the gate are $12 and $10.
