The white Toyota Avalon sped down Cannon Street on Friday afternoon, weaving in and out of traffic at an incredible speed. A dangerous speed for downtown Charleston. It sounded as though it was racing. As the car approached Ashley Avenue, its tires squealed before running into a gray Lincoln. The two cars spun around several times, hitting five cars that were parked along Cannon Street. Glass flew in every direction.
