COWPENS, S.C. — A Spartanburg County woman has been arrested and accused of fatally stabbing her live-in boyfriend.

The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office tells local media that 26-year-old Lindsey E. Wilson of Cowpens was charged Tuesday with murder after the death of 37-year-old Shannon E. Revels.

Revels called 911 Monday night, telling deputies who arrived inside the couple’s home that he had fallen on a knife. Revels died at a hospital the next day.

After investigating the stabbing and speaking with witnesses, authorities accused Wilson of stabbing Revels.

Online jail records do not indicate whether Wilson has an attorney.
