NOTABLE: Both head coaches are in their first season and both earned their first victories in their new position last week. Sumter defeated Crestwood, 48-29, and Stratford defeated Berkeley, 38-21 ... This is the 16th meeting between the two schools with Stratford holding nine wins in the series.
KEEP AN EYE ON: Sumter senior receiver Ky'jon Tyler is one of the state's most dynamic play-makers at 5-8, 160 pounds.
DID YOU KNOW: Both programs played in state championship games last season. Sumter lost in the Division I-AAAA finals to Dutch Fork while Stratford lost in the Division II-AAAA finals to Northwestern.
