LATTA, S.C. - Sheriff's deputies in Dillon County are investigating the shooting death of a man in the community of Latta.
County Coroner Donnie Grimsley tells local media outlets that a man was shot around 8 o'clock on Tuesday evening and died later at a hospital.
Captain Cliff Arnette of the Dillon County Sheriff's Office says the man was shot and then went to another house seeking help. The man's identity is not being released until relatives are notified.
Deputies say they are looking for a man in connection with the slaying but have not made an arrest.
