Smoke alarms

ESL and Interlogix brand 400/500 series smoke detectors are hard-wired. They were made for professional installation and used primarily in commercial buildings, schools, hotels, apartments and homes as part of the fire alarm system. Recalled units have date codes 13084 through 14059. ESL, date code and model numbers are on a back label and on the packaging. There are numerous model numbers. HP AC power cords

Hewlett-Packard is recalling 5.6 million notebook computer AC power cords in the U.S. because of possible overheating, which can pose a fire and burn hazard.

The LS-15 AC power cords were distributed with HP and Compaq notebook and mini notebook computers, and with AC adapter-powered accessories including docking stations.

Electric space heaters

Vornado VH110 Vortex electric space heaters were sold in black and white. Recalled heaters have the numbers 1 and 3 as the fourth and fifth digits of the serial number. They were sold at Bed Bath & Beyond, Home Depot, Target and other retailers and online at Vornado.com and Amazon.com June 2013 through May 2014.

Kayak storage hanger

Attwood kayak and watersports storage hangers were sold as a pair of blue and black fabric straps about 1 inch wide/84 inches long unbuckled. The straps include a plastic snap buckle to ad- just the length and plastic-coated steel S-hook for hanging. Model number 11917-6 is on the back of the package. They were sold at Walmart, marine dealers and Walmart.com, January-July 2014.

Dive computers

Scubapro Aladin2 dive computers, also known as Aladin Square dive computers. SCUBAPRO is stamped on the top and Aladin2 is printed on the bottom. The serial number on the back ends with 003. They were sold March-June 2014.
