The new utility poles running through Hampton Park and President Street are shockingly out of proportion and place.
In Hampton Park, they create a new skyline, a wall of wires above the trees and visually divide the park.
Along President Street, they tower above houses and are in every way obtrusive. Burying these lines would have been worth the cost to avoid this.
I am surprised that this was allowed in a city that so values preservation, walkability and beauty.
