Upper King isn't quite as cheesy as Lower King, in the concrete sense: Barsa is one of the few cheese plate purveyors north of Calhoun Street.
But now Twenty Six Divine is trying to change the neighborhood's cheese scene with its thrice-weekly cheese night, starting next month. On Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, the café will serve "a daily selection of delicious cheese outside on the garden patio" from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. Local beer, wine and cider will also be available for pairing.
According to a press release, which is pitching the extended happy hour as a pre-dinner stop, owners Jennifer and Enan Parezo will circulate the patio to answer cheese-related questions.
Twenty Six Divine is located at 682 King St. For more information, call 297-8118 or visit twentysixdivine.com.
