MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - Police in North Carolina have arrested a man wanted in one of eight Memorial Day weekend shootings in Myrtle Beach.
Myrtle Beach police told local media outlets that 24-year-old Tristan Datre Payne is charged with accessory after the fact of attempted murder in a May 24 shooting at a hotel that injured a man.
The Greensboro, North Carolina, Police Department has also charged Payne with possession of a gun by a felon and possession of a stolen gun.
He's also charged with failure to appear in court on a drug charge. It was not clear if Payne has a lawyer.
There were seven other shootings in Myrtle Beach during the Memorial Day weekend that killed three people and injured six others. No arrests have been made in the other shootings.
