MUSC Urban Farm
What: At the half-acre MUSC Urban Farm, the Charleston community can come together to learn about the connection between land and food. Participants are engaged with cooking and nutrition lessons and hands-on learning about sustainable urban agriculture.

What: Local farmers market that provides fresh produce and other locally made goods.

What: Caviar & Bananas will present its second annual C&B-BQ event with executive chef Scott Roule and guest pit master Wes Sellew, featuring hickory smoked BBQ with triple cheddar mac and cheese, Southwestern-style cole slaw, baked beans with bacon, hickory-smoked deviled eggs and other sides, along with three sauce options: smoked jalapeno, sweet and three pepper vinegar. $12.50 per plate includes one BBQ selection and two sides. 5-8 p.m.

Better Breathers Club
What: A support group for anyone suffering from chronic lung disease and their family, friends and caretakers. Special guest Dr. Charlie Strange will present on treatments for COPD this week. During the meetings, group members will have the opportunity to connect with lung disease patients and their families and learn about their conditions from health care professionals in a supportive environment. Regular meetings will be held every third Wednesday of the month.

Sewing 101: The Basics
What: Sewing class even for those who have never touched a sewing machine before. Students will learn about all of the machines working parts and will build a foundation of basic seams and finishing techniques. All materials included. Sewing machines will be provided for use.

'Laugh for a Lincoln'
