Charleston County sheriff's deputies found nearly 300 marijuana plants and two stolen pistols in a search of homes in West Ashley and Johns Island on Saturday.
The drug bust netted three arrests, according to affidavits released by the Sheriff's Office on Tuesday.
Kenneth Stephen Adcock, 48, of Canterbury Road in West Ashley, faces two counts of possession with the intent to distribute marijuana and two counts of manufacturing marijuana.
Justin Cole Leboeuf, 23, of Riverfront Drive in West Ashley, is charged with two counts of possession of a stolen pistol and one count of manufacturing marijuana.
John Alan Jackson, 44, of Murraywood Road on Johns Island, faces one count of manufacturing marijuana.
Investigators found 218 marijuana plants in a shed at Jackson's home, according to the arrest affidavits. Search crews also found fluorescent lamps, soil, plant food and instructions on how to grow the drug, deputies said.
When questioned by authorities, Jackson reported that Adcock provided the equipment to grow the plants. He added that Adcock also was responsible for marijuana plants that were growing at Leboeuf's home on Riverfront Drive.
A search of that home netted 70 plants and two pistols worth $200 and $400. Both guns had been reported stolen out of Charleston, deputies said.
While searching Adcock's home on Canterbury Road, deputies found 1.5 grams of marijuana sitting next to a digital scale and 10 grams of liquid Tetrahydrocannabinol, the primary psychoactive substance found in marijuana, according to the affidavits.
Jackson, Adcock and Leboeuf were all booked at the Charleston County jail on charges related to the searches.
A judge set bail at $25,000 for Jackson, $60,000 for Leboeuf and $220,000 for Adcock, jail records show.
