The Coburg Cow will soon be reunited with the chocolate milk container that was knocked down during a storm last weekend.
A spokesman from Borden Dairy, which pledged to maintain the cow after it bought Coburg in 2011, said they picked up the bottle from the Charleton police department on Tuesday and asked a sign company to repair it.
It should be fixed within the next couple of weeks, the spokesman said.
The sign has been damaged many times since it was first put up in 1959 but continues to be a landmark in West Ashley.
