Another round of showers and thunderstorms is possible Tuesday in the Charleston area, and the National Weather Service warned folks to again be on the lookout for flash flooding.

Though the threat isn't quite as widespread as it was during the weekend, "localized flooding will be possible through this evening as scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms affect the region," forecasters said in a statement Tuesday morning.

The main threat will come after noon, and the total chance of rain is 50 percent, they added.
