The Charleston Trident Association of Realtors is marking the opening of its headquarters Tuesday.
The 3,000-member trade group has relocated to newly built office at 5006 Wetland Crossing, behind the Tanger Outlet in North Charleston.
"This new facility will allow our staff to work more efficiently on behalf of the membership and give our members a significantly upgraded headquarters - larger classrooms will help us accommodate the growing education and training needs of our membership and enhanced technology throughout the facility will help us all work faster and smarter" CEO Wil Riley said in a written statement.
The 9,000-square-foot structure was built by Maverick Construction. It is owned by Mount Pleasant-based Landmark Enterprises Inc.
The local real estate trade association had to move from its longtime offices at the nearby SCRA campus on International Boulevard because Boeing Co. has is using that property for future expansion of its 787 assembly site.
