A Charleston man has been charged with attempted murder in connection with a Saturday stabbing in downtown Charleston.
Timothy Lee Tomlin, 51, of Nassau Street in Charleston, is being held at the Sheriff Al Cannon Detention Center. Bond was set at $200,000, according to the Charleston County web site.
Police responding to a call of a possible stabbing around 3:30 p.m. Saturday found a 46-year-old man in front of the Bi-Lo at 445 Meeting Street, according to the Charleston Police Department. The incident happened at 71 Nassau St. and the victim rode his bicycle to the store, according to the incident report.
The victim was taken to the Medical University.
