A Berkeley County Sheriff's deputy was involved in a crash Monday night and taken to an area hospital, according to law enforcement officials.
The two-car crash took place at the intersection of Red Bank Road and Harbour Lake Drive in Goose Creek.
At least two other people were in the other vehicle, according to Dan Moon, a spokesman with the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office.
The deputy was taken to the Medical University Hospital in stable condition. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, Moon said.
The Highway Patrol is investigating.
The accident was cleared by 10 p.m.
No further information was available late Monday.
